Patented Screw Clamp Technolgy
Most security screens rely on a glued or wedged rubber seal to hold the mesh in the frame — a method that’s cheap, but only as strong as the glue bond or the friction of the wedge, both of which weaken over time.
Crimsafe’s patented Screw-Clamp® system works differently: our clamp holds the mesh firmly in place along the entire length of the frame, and screws are then driven through the clamp into the frame itself, physically fixing everything together rather than relying on adhesive or tension.
Because the fixing method is patented, other manufacturers can’t legally replicate it — they’re locked into glue or wedge systems by default, while every Crimsafe door and screen gets the full benefit of a mechanically screwed, evenly distributed fix.

Triple Deadlock with Parrot Beak Locking System
A single-point lock is a single point of failure.
Crimsafe hinged doors use a triple deadlock system with a parrot beak locking mechanism, anchored into a reinforced frame so the load spreads across the whole door instead of concentrating at the handle. Instead of a standard latch that simply clips into place, the parrot beak hook curls around the strike plate and locks in from three points along the frame — top, middle, and bottom — so prying, jemmying, or forcing the door at any single point does nothing. The door either holds everywhere, or it doesn’t move at all.

Crimsafe uses 0.9mm 304-grade Tensile Tuff® stainless steel mesh, fixed into the frame with a patented Screw-Clamp® system rather than a glued or wedged rubber seal. When impacted, the load spreads across the whole frame instead of concentrating on one weak point, which is why Crimsafe consistently outperforms standard screens in independent impact testing.
