Why choose

When it comes to window film, high-quality outcomes stem from high-quality products.

3M is the global leader in window film, having first invented tint film in 1966. Renowned for their commitment to quality, innovation and durability, Alcom Tint + Security has made the conscious decision to use only 3M films across every project – regardless of size or application.

Combining 3M’s market-leading window films with our extensive experience installing it, you can feel confident that the exceptional outcomes for your home or business will last for years to come.

Why choose Crimsafe

We make our Crimsafe frames in-house and install them ourselves, so every screen and door is built for your opening.

Crimsafe screens and doors are built from security mesh designed to resist impact, jemmy and knife attacks. In University of Queensland impact testing, Crimsafe withstood more than 500 joules, compared with 2 to 4 joules for a standard flyscreen.

We make the frames in-house and install every job ourselves, so each screen and door is made for your opening rather than adapted to it. Alcom has installed Crimsafe since its Australian inception in 1996, and the products carry a 10 to 15 year warranty depending on the range. You keep the airflow and light, with the protection built in.

No, the ultraviolet (UV) Protection that 3M uses in the proprietary adhesive system is indefinite. It does not lose its effectiveness over time. What is the best way to clean window film?

To keep your 3M Window Film clean, we recommend you use only a soft cloth or car chamois with mild detergent. Please do not clean your 3M Window Film with commercial glass cleaners such as Windex. These cleaners are strong alkaline solutions and may stain the film. Should you encounter stubborn stains or marks, gently rub off with methylated spirits and a soft tissue.

Testimonials

As the CARA Interior Project Management , Project Manager for the prestigious Telstra Store Icon Brisbane, in Queen Street Mall, we appointed Alcom Security to supply & install the 3M security film to all glazing elements. Their service was excellent as was their installation. We would not hesitate to use their services again and can confirm that they are highly recommended

Quinton & team from Alcom Security have been outstanding to us. We needed to have security screen installed prior to Christmas and they went above and beyond to help us out. Product knowledge, quality, workmanship and customer care are exemplary. I have Crimsafe on all of my doors and windows, it makes your house so secured. I have already stared recommending Quinton/Alcom Security to my friends. Thanks again for looking after us. “Best Product… Best Price”

Alcom has been our tenant at number 3 Chetwynd St Loganholme for over 17 years, we were very sad to see them leave as they have been a model tenant which always paid their rent on time and very professional to deal with over the many years. They vacated the premises with high standards leaving it spotless and on very good terms. Over the years they have done work for us in our own homes which they did on time which we were very happy with and a follow up call after a few weeks to see if we are happy with the workman ship which we where. I would highly recommend the team at Alcom I appreciate there honest down to earth service and wish them all the very best for the future.
